Stroberg Equipment Company began building portable cattle corrals in 1954. Until this time, the concept of a portable corral did not work because the corrals were not strong enough to hold a group of cattle.
Dean Stroberg designed the Stroberg Porta-Corral. He built the Stroberg Porta-Corral two guages heavier than it needed to be so that it would not only hold cattle, but it would last a lifetime. Through the years, Stroberg Equipment Company continued to expand their livestock equipment product line. In addition to Stroberg Porta-Corrals, Stroberg Equipment Company manufactures panels, headgates, farm gates, crowding tubs, and continuous fencing.
Dean Stroberg was deceased in 1997 but Stroberg Equipment Company continues to build quality livestock equipment that lasts a lifetime.
Dean's son, Roger, is now at the helm of the business. Roger has been working full-time with Stroberg Equipment Company since his college graduation thirty years ago.
Dean's wife, Bernadine, continues to manage the office as she has since the inception of Stroberg Equipment Company.
