Corrals
Stroberg Porta-Corrals are self-supporting
structures constructed from an extremely strong, quality steel. The panels
are easily used on all types of terrain, including uneven ground, leaving
a minimum gap between the panels. The panels are completey welded around
the horizontal bars and joints. Extra time and welding is put into each
panel to insure added strength and workmanship that is second-to-none.
The corral is transported on either a panel trailer or combination panel
trailer/loading chute.
Stroberg Sheep Corrals (Not Shown) will hold up to 1500 ewes or 1000 ewes with lambs.
The corral consists of a 13' tandem chute, 39 pipe panels, 12 solid panels, 2 dodge gates and 3 adjustable alley frames.
All panels are 12' in length and 40 inches in height.
Feeders
The Round Bale Feeder
comes in 3 sections. Each feeder has 21 feed openings, has no wasted space
and is durably constructed (note the double ring at the top). At the bottom
of each feeder is sheet metal in order to ensure minimum hay loss. The
feeders can be used for regular bales or other roughage. The large 8.5'
size allows loose feed to drop into the void between the bale and the
feeder skirt, thus reducing waste.
The Stroberg Big Bale Feeder (Not Shown) is built for service and can be used for both calves and sheep. The
feeder is designed using round and square tubing to withstand many years of service. The feeder is eight feet square and comes in four sections.
Two of the sections slide in so animals can eat the entire bale. One person can assemble it or move it in a matter of minutes.
Stroberg's Hex Hay Feeder (Not Shown) is designed for use with sheep or calves. The floor is 6" up so that it can be used for grain feeding. It comes in two sections
and has 14 openings. Its unique design makes it easy to move between locations.
Farm Gates
The time required to open and close poor and rickety gates can be used more profitably
elsewhere. Constructed of superior steel and precision welded in standard Stroberg style. Stroberg Gates will last a lifetime and make
your work handling livestock go faster, easier and safer. The double spindle hinges with threaded and adjustable hanging pins make a Stroberg gate easy to
hang, easy to keep balanced and easy to keep free swinging. We will also custom build our gates to your desired length and specifications.Don't forget to ask about our optional selection of gate latches!
Panels
Feed costs are reduced when you use Stroberg Slant
Bar Feeder Panels. You will discover that they will help you
reduce labor time as well. Stroberg Feeder Panels are
also strong enough to withstand the punishment of the heaviest animal.
In addition to being used as feeder pens, these strong, sturdy panels
can be used as fence line feeders, a portable corral, a catch pen or a
gate. Our Feeder panels are always easy to return to a rectangle where
they can be used to enclose a new stack, a round bale or large square
bales of hay or feed. Don't forget to ask about our various lengths
of feeder panels.
Calving Pen
The Stroberg Calving Pen is a helpful solution at calving time. It can be also be taken apart and utilized as a standard part of your portable corral at other times of the year.
Continuous Fencing
Stroberg Continuous Fencing is constructed of 14 gauge, 1 5/16" tubing in 10.5' lengths with 6 horizontal bars and 3 vertical bars. Connectors are welded onto the ends.
